From a distance, it looks like a perfect pyramid, which make it an important landmark for travelers prior to the building of the Icefields Parkway. Photo Tips: This lake is best photographed in the early morning, when the light hits the peak, but has not yet hit the surface of the lake. On calm days, you can get a perfect mirror-like reflection.
